As a responsible supplier of essential chemicals, Nouryon has pandemic preparedness plans in place that have allowed us to work quickly and proactively to deal with the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
We set up global and regional response teams early on that took measures to protect employees and prepare for potential impacts on our operations.
Proactive preventive measures include travel restrictions and guidelines for all employees to ensure a healthy work environment.
Given the purpose, role and necessity of our products, Nouryon operations generally fall within the “essential business” exceptions of the laws and directives enacted to fight COVID-19. We play a critical role in supplying essential chemicals for life-saving products, as well as everyday household items. Many of our ingredients are used to make products that are used in fighting COVID-19, including masks, medicine, protective gear, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, and cleaning supplies.
As such, we take great pride in keeping our facilities operating to supply products to our customers.
