Eka® HP (hydrogen peroxide) plays an important role in the process of refining and recycling the valuable metals used in lithium-ion batteries. It is used in hydrometallurgical processes for more efficient extraction and recovery when refining battery grade metals and cathode active materials. Our Eka® HP also increases recycling efficiency of the metals from spent batteries by functioning as a reducing agent when leaching black mass of different battery chemistries.
