We talked to our colleague Donovan Thompson, a Senior Researcher at our Bridgewater site in the US, about his background, his inspirations, and how his team is growing together at Nouryon.

Partnership and teamwork are the foundation of our success, and now that we’re Nouryon, we’re putting even greater focus on listening to, challenging, and supporting our customers, colleagues, and partners so that we can create shared success and build a sustainable future together. One colleague who embraces our commitment to growing together is Donovan Thompson. Donovan is a Senior Researcher in the Global R&D group working at our Surface Chemistry site in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
When we asked Donovan about how he ended up at Nouryon, he explained that his advisor in graduate school had worked for – and recommended – AkzoNobel for years. When it came time to apply, Donovan looked into a few different companies, but Gary Martino’s research group in Bridgewater was the place that felt most like home.
