Personal care products receive Ringier Technology Innovation Awards in China.

Recently, two of Nouryon's personal care products, Amaze® SP Polymer and ElfaMoist® AC Humectant, won the 2023 Personal Care Industry - Ringier Technology Innovation Award in the categories of Functional Ingredients and Effective Ingredients, respectively. The recognition of these products by local industry experts demonstrates our innovation strength in the Chinese market.

Amaze® SP Polymer is a 100% natural, biobased, readily biodegradable hair control polymer that offers weightless, invisible styling. ElfaMoist® AC Humectant has excellent penetration and deposition properties and provides non-sticky, quick, and long-lasting moisturizing efficacy for the skin.

In 2022, Nouryon’s product, SolAmaze® Natural Polymer, was recognized with the same award. SolAmaze® Natural polymer is a novel bio-based, biodegradable product, with film-forming properties that include superior water resistance and pleasing aesthetics for high-SPF emulsion sunscreens.

The Ringier Technology Innovation Awards are among the most prestigious awards in the Chinese personal care industry and were launched in the China market in 2006. This year, more than 265 product entries from 160 companies participated in the award submission process. The key criteria assessed for the Ringier Awards includes relevance to China and the international personal care and cosmetics industry, as well as safety, efficacy or functionality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
