The power of collaboration: Our partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles

Around the world at our offices, innovation centers, and manufacturing sites, our partnerships extend to the communities where we operate through our approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR).We achieve our CSR objectives through employee volunteerism, partnerships, and corporate giving, and we focus on areas that have the strongest connections to our business including:

  • STEM Education (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)
  • Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship
  • Safety & Health
  • Accelerating a high-performance and innovation culture

Our multi-faceted partnership with the US-based National Football League (NFL) team, the Philadelphia Eagles, showcases our approach to CSR, demonstrates the power of collaboration, and enhances our efforts in accelerating a high-performing and innovation culture. The partnership includes several initiatives: philanthropic donations to the Eagles Autism Foundation; Team Nouryon’s annual participation in the Eagles Autism Challenge event; engaging our employees and local veterans in the 9/11 Day Meal Pack program; and extends to the launch of the Popcorn for the People popcorn production plant which was established to provide meaningful career opportunities for the neurodiverse community.

One of the longest standing initiatives under our partnership with the Eagles is the Nouryon All- Pro Teachers program. This program recognizes educators for grades 5 through 12 for their exceptional educational drive, innovation in the classroom, and community involvement.

Each year, the Nouryon All-Pro Teachers program receives hundreds of nominations from members of the community, current or former students, fellow teachers, and school administrators. Every nomination is reviewed for specific criteria and then 10 outstanding teachers are selected and recognized from the greater Philadelphia region, where our US headquarters office is located. Once the All-Pro Teachers are selected, Nouryon makes a financial donation to each winning teacher’s school for continued educational initiatives and programming. Additionally, the teachers receive a personalized Eagles football jersey and an official National Football League (NFL) football, four tickets to an Eagles home game, and an invitation to attend the Nouryon All-Pro Teachers Awards Ceremony where they are entered into the drawing for Teacher of the Year.

Did you know?

This year, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the All-Pro Teacher program, which will honor the 100 recipients of the All-Pro recognition in 2025. You can submit a nomination for a teacher within 75 miles of Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA (US) where the Eagles play football.
