This groundbreaking product concept for expandable microspheres marks a significant advancement in Nouryon’s innovation portfolio, providing a partially biobased and high-performance lightweight filler and blowing agent that addresses the evolving needs of the market.
Designed to be both partially biobased and highly efficient, Expancel® BIO microspheres serve as a versatile solution for many applications, including coatings, adhesives, construction materials, automotive components, shoe soles, and porous ceramics. This innovation reduces material weight and enhances properties while supporting the global shift towards eco-friendly and responsible production practices.
