Detailed description
Alcogum® SL 117 is an acrylate-based emulsion copolymer supplied at 30% active solids in water. This product is part of a unique line of hydrophobically modified, alkali soluble emulsion polymers typically referred to as HASE thickeners.
The process employed in the manufacture of Alcogum® SL 117 allows for fine control of the polymer structure and molecular weight to provide optimized performance in a broad range of application areas. Such applications include adhesive and textile compounding, paint formulation, detergent and cleaning compositions, construction compounding, latex coatings, pigment mining, and particulate suspension.
