Applications
Trigonox® 23 can be used for the market segments: polymer and acrylics production with their different applications/functions. For more information please check our website and/or contact us.
Trigonox® 23 is an efficient initiator for the production of Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE). It is used both for tubular and autoclave processes. In most cases a combination with other peroxides is used to ensure a broad reactivity range.
Trigonox® 23 can also be used for the polymerization of diethylene glycol di(allylcarbonate) based optical monomers. The use level of Trigonox® 23 will depend on the particular cure parameters being used.
Trigonox® 23 has an activity in between peroxydicarbonates and tert-Butyl peroxypivalate (Trigonox® 25). Trigonox® 23 can be applied as an initiator for the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride in the temperature range 50-65°C. The obtained polymer has a good thermal stability.
Trigonox® 23 is an initiator for (co)polymerization of (meth)acrylates.
Trigonox® 23 can be also used for the polymerization of diethylene glycol di(allylcarbonate) based optical monomers.
