We are looking for an IM Application Manager - SAP ABAP/CPI who can design and deliver SAP ABAP solutions, support Merger & Acquisition projects, and identify new opportunities to get more value out of our IT systems.

About the job 


A challenging opportunity for an open-minded and enthusiastic candidate with great Functional Application Management skills to support in the strategic change and further enhance and support core applications to the Business! 

 

In your future role as IM Application Manager - SAP ABAP/CPI you will: 

 

  • Be responsible for delivering custom developments in SAP systems (Smartforms, ABAP reports, Interfaces, BW extractors, etc.) within a complex environment 

  • Work in cross-functional project teams on new functionality, data migrations, and upgrades 

  • Support our IM Services department in resolving incidents and in implementing small changes and operational support 

  • Discuss with business stakeholders to collect information needs and translate these into a design for ABAP programs 

  • Support Merger & Acquisition projects to smoothly integrate new businesses into our SAP system 

  • Support the development and implementation of the Automation/Robotization roadmap of Nouryon 

  • Proactively identify new opportunities to get more value out of our IT systems 

 

We believe you bring 

 

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field 

  • At least five years of experience as an SAP ABAP Engineer and certification as an ABAP Consultant 

  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: ABAP OOPS, BAPI/BADI Development, IDOCs, Report writing using ALV and ABAP lists, Smartforms, and SapScripts 

  • Hands-on experience with CPI Cockpit and JAVA/Groovy Script 

  • Knowledge of APIs and API business hub 

  • Good troubleshooting skills and knowledge in mapping and adapters connectivity issues 

  • Experience with interfaces, user exits/enhancements, dialogue programming, BDCs, workflow, and LSMW 

  • Knowledge of oData, Adobe Forms, and cloud connectors 

  • Experience working in an agile environment 

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence internal and external parties 

  • Ability to deliver results in a demanding and rapidly changing organization 

  • Experience working in a global environment and familiarity with regional specifics
