Purpose of the Job
To provide technical support for Cleaning Goods business in India & Southeast Asia, and to lead the Cleaning Goods Tech Service team in the region.
About the job (Job Responsibilities)
- Develop an understanding of the benefits of Nouryon's products versus competition in formulation and generate data to support value proposition.
- Design experiments, perform lab work and develop solutions to solve customer problems or to meet technical targets for prioritized projects.
- Keep abreast of customer needs, patent literature, market trends and drivers, to anticipate and test new applications and formulations for Nouryon’s product.
- Work with global teams to implement global / regional application programs, as well as developing relevant local programs.
- Provide technical training to customers / distributors and sales teams as required Present technical presentation in market seminars / in-house workshops to promote products and technologies.
- Build connections with stakeholders in the cleaning industry including I&I, Home Cs Support New Product Introduction in the region through Product Development and Application Support.
- Design experiments and execute lab work for prioritized projects.
- Provide application support and training to sales team, customers and distributors support sales team with join visits to key markets / customers.
- Coordinate with global technical teams to facilitate sharing of information stay abreast of technical developments in the industry.
- Lead and develop Cleaning Goods Technical Service team in the region.
We believe you bring (Education & Experience)
- Postgraduate or above majoring in Chemistry, Polymers or related subjects having more than 10 years of experience in the Household Cleaning / Fabric Care / I&I Cleaning industries.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Application Development in Home Care / I&I industry, at end user of Chemical supplier.
- Strong desire to acquire new technical knowledge, strong intention to learn new things and perform.
- Experience with design & execution of experiments.
- Good problem-solving skills, ability to work independently.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at different levels.
- Ability to work and communicate across cultures.
