About the Job 

The Functional Application Manager will support strategic changes and further enhance and support core business applications. As a key member of the IM Services Functional Application support team, you will work together with the rest of the team to drive business continuity, IT professionalism, and user/business satisfaction. 

In Your Future Role as Functional Application Manager SAP Materials Management You Will: 

• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Materials Management module issues. 
• Work on the Inbound and Outbound transportation process in LE Transportation. 
• Monitor and manage EDI and background job processes. 
• Maintain Master Data (vendor master, material master, outline agreement, business Partner, dangerous goods). 
• Manage and execute procurement scenarios with a minimum of three implementation experiences. 
• Integrate with other SAP modules like SD, LE, WM. 
• Work within SAP Materials Management and Inventory Management (MM-IM) with 6-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Logistics modules. 
• Utilize S/4HANA experience as an advantage. 
• Leverage SAP MM certification if available (not mandatory). 

Incident Management: 

• Use the Service-Now Tool for registering, monitoring, and resolving tickets and change requests. 
• Monitor application performance and ensure the integrity of the production environment. 
• Maintain applications according to SLA and regional business needs. 
• Be on periodic standby for emergencies (24x7 availability schedule). 
• Prioritize tasks as agreed with the business. 
• Act as the first escalation point for Application Maintenance services. 
• Ensure compliance with IM processes. 
• Maintain proper and updated documentation of applications. 
• Conduct tests, record failures, and perform fault diagnosis as defined in an integration test specification. 
• Frequently contact key users regarding open tickets and coordinate the Key User network and meetings. 
• Support project execution for changes/enhancements. 
• Participate actively in the CAB/Change Advisory Board. 
• Implement further automation initiatives.

• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in SAP MM-IM. 
• Strong analytical skills and design thinking. 
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Ability to manage business user expectations. 
• Ability to foresee risks and document functional requirements. 
• Professional attributes including good communication and leadership skills, and the ability to mentor new joiners. 
• Personal characteristics such as a drive for efficient results, customer focus, and ownership of incidents and problems. 
• Ability to work under close guidance and detailed work instructions, with prioritization and checking by a manager. 
• A team-oriented mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• A positive, proactive, enthusiastic attitude, self-motivation. 
• Dedication to maintaining the required quality of system performance and solutions. 
• Expert level proficiency in English (speaking and writing).
