Technical Application Manager (TAM)

We are looking for a Technical Application Manager (TAM) who is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing technological applications within the organization. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including IT teams, user groups, and suppliers, to ensure applications meet operational requirements and user needs.

About the Job 

As a Technical Application Manager (TAM), you are responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing technological applications within the organization. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including IT teams, user groups, and suppliers, to ensure applications meet operational requirements and user needs. You are an essential link between technology and business processes, providing innovative solutions and ensuring smooth operation of applications to improve operational efficiency. 

In Your Future Role as Technical Application Manager, You Will: 

• SAP Systems Management and Maintenance: Manage and maintain SAP systems, including system installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the SAP landscape. 
• System Security and User Management: Implement and maintain system security measures such as user authentication, authorization, and single sign-on. Manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations to ensure proper access control. 
• Backup and Recovery: Plan and implement backup strategies to protect SAP data and configurations. Develop and test disaster recovery plans to minimize system downtime. 
• Transport Management: Manage and monitor transports of SAP objects between systems, ensuring consistency and integrity. 
• SAP Landscape Maintenance: Manage system landscapes, including development, quality assurance, and production systems. Ensure system availability and reliability through proactive maintenance and periodic health checks. 
• Integration and Interface Monitoring: Monitor and maintain system interfaces and integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems. 
• SAP System Upgrades and Migrations: Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations to newer versions or platforms. 
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain system documentation, procedures, and operational guides. Provide regular reports on system performance, status, and ongoing activities. 
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve system issues, errors, and performance problems. Conduct conference call meetings/Incident war-rooms to resolve critical incidents. Collaborate with SAP functional teams and technical support to address complex issues. Enhance business perception of IT by quickly resolving and communicating requests and incidents. Manage ongoing analysis, documentation, and reporting of incidents and requests. Drive knowledge management and value extraction within the TAM domain. 

We Believe You Bring: 

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Extensive experience in SAP system administration and performance tuning. 
• Proficiency in English (please apply with your CV in English). 
• Proficiency in SAP HANA, NetWeaver, and Solution Manager; experience with compliance standards such as GDPR and SOX. 
• Experience in relevant TAM services,  SAP Basis management and know databases (DB2, HANA, MaxDB, SQLServer, etc) and servers (AIX, Linux, Windows, etc). · 

Great If You Have: 

• SAP certification. 
• Background in project management or technical support. 
• SAP RIsE and SAP solution Manager experience would be preferable · SAP BTP admin & SAP Analytical Cloud knowledge. Wintel knowledge would be a plus
