Solution Architect Finance - Mexico City

  • We are looking for a Solution Architect Finance who is experienced in SAP FICO and related domains to join our team of Changemakers. Does that sound like you?


As a Solution Architect Finance – Procure to Pay, you will:

  • Support demand management in the ideation phase and early stages of IM projects.

  • Provide solutions compatible with existing technical and functional architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability.

  • Ensure quality and consistency with functional template design for deployments.

  • Monitor the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies in your area of expertise.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Finance process owners globally, becoming a trusted advisor for business processes in your area of expertise.

  • Lead and/or participate in projects covering the SAP FICO domain including integration with other SAP modules and applications.

 

In your future role as Solution Architect Finance, you will:

  • Define project charters and translate them into detailed requirements in line with Nouryon’s project methodology.

  • Translate business requirements into solutions and/or solution directions.

  • Define, agree, and communicate the roadmap for the applications in scope.

  • Review impact assessment and solution directions for change requests.

  • Keep IM documentation and CMDB up-to-date for the business processes and applications in scope.

  • Ensure quality and consistency with template design for deployments by checking designs and builds.

  • Support testing and training activities for change requests and projects.

  • Contribute to and initiate continuous improvement activities.

 

We believe you bring:

  • A Master’s degree in business management, computer science, or a related field of study.

  • Extensive experience as a SAP FICO professional in IT and/or Finance business roles.

  • Deep experience in the SAP P2P domain including hands-on experience with SAP VIM / OpenText solutions.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work in a global environment and understand regional specifics.

  • Broad knowledge and experience of architecture, technology platforms, and business domains with relevant experience in SAP FICO, including expertise in P2P applications like SAP VIM, Concur, OpenText, Tax solutions, and integration with Ariba and SAP MM.

  • Hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation projects and programs.

  • Problem-solving skills using knowledge, experience, and analysis of available information.

 

Great if you have:

  • Knowledge of and experience in technical components of OpenText.

  • Knowledge of Celonis (process mining).
