About the job

In this role as Outplant Support Specialist you will be assigned responsibility for a group of outplants within the region, with the specific number determined by geography proximity, shipment count, business complexity & special attributes, and individual experience/capability.

 

As a specialist you are responsible for executing daily shipping, inventory control, site logistics activities in SAP for outplants without direct SAP link, as well as supervising and supporting these activities for outplants that have a direct link. In addition, you will be responsible for internal and external stakeholder management for the assigned outplant(s).

 

 

In your future role as Outplant Support Specialist

  • Monitoring site logistics activities in SAP for SAP-direct outplants, and monitoring and execution for non-SAP direct outplants; including picking instructions, creating transport and export documents for outplants and booking GI/GR, process COA’s;
  • Plan and execute repacking and relabeling operations;
  • Monitor and book stock adjustment, i.e. blocked or damaged stock;
  • Monitor and control inbound and outbound order flow for SAP direct outplants;
  • Lead or participate daily operational calls with outplants and internal stakeholders to ensure planned orders are shipped, and identify and resolve issues swiftly;
  • Participate (large outplants) or lead (small outplants) in outplant periodic performance reviews;
  • Complaint handling and investigation;
  • Updating global outplant database & facility details;
  • Identify frequency and cause of service failures and participate in efforts to identify and implements solutions. 

 

We believe you bring

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehousing / supply chain. Experience with chemical companies is preferred;
  • Demonstrated knowledge in performing warehousing and site shipping activities;
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and quickly develop a solution;
  • Strong working knowledge and history of using computers and programs specific to logistics (SAP, TMS, WMS) and to general business management (MS Excel, Word). ;
  • Fluency in the Dutch and English languages (Spanish is considered as an extra).

  • A temporary contract with a probationary period of 1 months.
  • A gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance based on your knowledge and experience between EUR 58,700 and EUR 85.500.
  • 25 vacation days + 10 leave days.

This is a one-year contract on a full-time basis, based in Amersfoort.
