About the job 

As Regional Sales Manager you are responsible for the regional sales for dedicated product lines – Ethylene Amines ( EA)  , Sulfur Products (SP) and Monochlorocetic acid ( MCA). You will lead a team of seven people existing of multiple (Key) Account Managers, a Technical Sales Manager and a Sales Support Professional. 

In your future role as Regional Sales Manager EMEA you will

  • Define a plan to execute the strategy for sales of the product portfolio
  • Keep up to date with market trends, competition, dynamics and maintain contacts
  • Develop and provide input to pricing, services and exception policy for product line, in conjunction with Marketing
  • Implement allocation with marketing/product management of all product when needed including coordination with any other entity that takes product from same supply source
  • Implement regional customer segmentation and service levels 
  • Develop new business by identifying new customer needs and provide input for new product and/or service development
  • Forecast monthly 1-24 months and provide regular updates on demand 
  • Be an active member of the IBP/S&OP  team in region

We believe you bring 

  • a master's degree of a technical nature 
  • At least 7+ years working experience in a similar sales role within Specialty Chemicals or Chemical process environment 
  • Experience with managing a team 
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing + another European language
  • The strong analytical ability needed to manage price, logistics and margin issues
  • The ability to communicate and network with all levels at in our organization and our customers.

You will have the chance to work with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization. The regional sales team is striving to be better every day and are always willing to help whenever necessary. Our employment package comprises:

  • A permanent contract with a probationary period of 2 months.
  • A gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance based on your knowledge and experience between EUR 119,000 and EUR 149.000
  • 30 vacation days.
  • An STI-bonus based on own kpi’s and company performance.
  • Excellent pension scheme.
  • Good growth and training opportunities.

Good to know 


This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, based in Amersfoort with a travel component of around 50/60%. You will report to the Vice President, Intermediates who is based in Sweden.
