About the job

If you are ready to take on a critical role, you will monitor EMEA VAT legislative changes and communicate them to key stakeholders. You'll be the first point of contact for VAT-related questions within the business and continuously improve VAT processes. Additionally, you'll assist with the preparation of timely responses to EMEA VAT audits and inquiries.

 

In your future role as EMEA VAT Manager, you will

 

  • Monitoring EMEA VAT legislative changes, communicating those changes to key stakeholders and support the implementation of any changes required.
  • Continuously improving the VAT related processes for the EMEA region.
  • Act as a first point of contact for EMEA VAT related questions within the organization.
  • Contribute to projects that have touchpoints with EMEA VAT.
  • Assist with the preparation of timely responses to tax audits / inquiries for the EMEA region.
  • Perform extraordinary EMEA VAT compliance tasks that require a strong tax technical background.
  • Responsible for educating the organization on VAT matters.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with key stakeholders within Nouryon.

 

 We believe you bring

 

  • 3-4 years’ experience in EMEA VAT.
  • Thorough understanding of EMEA VAT regulations.
  • Good understanding of and hands-on experience with EMEA VAT compliance activities.
  • Experience with indirect tax processes within multinational companies.
  • Ability to translate indirect tax rules into business requirements

 

 

Great if you have 

  • SAP experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Fluency in English.
