About the job

Our Data Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data management strategies to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the company's master data across all systems and platforms. You will Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure the integration of master data requirements with business processes. Furthermore the Data Manager will manage the master data lifecycle, including creation, updates, deletion, and archiving. You will have 4 direct reports and 11 indirect reports in this role.

In your future role as Data Manager you will

• Develop and maintain a master data framework that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Manage the master data governance together with stakeholder (GPO and/or business leader) to identify and implement best practices for data management.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure the integration of master data requirements with business processes.
• Understand and define the main data assets within the organization. These assets include entities such as customers, products, employees, locations, vendors, suppliers, and accounting items.
• Creating a structured representation of these data objects, including their attributes, relationships, and hierarchies.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
• Ensuring data quality is crucial. The manager oversees practices that maintain accuracy, validity, completeness, uniqueness, consistency, and timeliness.
• Implementing data quality checks, validation rules, and cleansing processes falls under this category.

We believe you bring

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a master data management role, preferably in a global setting.
• Knowledge of MDM industry standards (eg DAMA) and best practices
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Fluency in English and preferably Dutch

Great if you have

• Experience with ServiceNow, Celonis, SAP MDG, S4 HANA

• A permanent contract with a probationary period of 2 months.
• A gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance based on your knowledge and experience between EUR 107,200 and EUR 134.000
