• We are looking for a Procurement Director EMEIA who is responsible for all production-related raw material spend to join our team of Changemakers. Does that sound like you? 

About the job

You will oversee the development and execution of sourcing strategies across all categories within span of control including targets, timelines, and resource plans. 

In your future role as “Procurement Director EMEIA” you will

• Control over all production-related raw material spend for the region across multiple business units
• You will oversee the development and execution of sourcing strategies. Be a strategic member of the global product management team.
• 5 direct reports, and in total leading a team of 16 expert Global Strategic and Go-To-Market Procurement Specialists.
• Lead rigorous and objective contract negotiations with key internal stakeholders, legal department and support groups.
• Conduct business review meetings with Executive key stakeholders / business lines to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.

We believe you bring

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in a business related area
• Minimum 10 years of business and leadership experience. Knowledge of chemical industry and or direct/raw material procurement experience would be preferred.
• Fluency in English…

At Nouryon, we provide a great job and friendly coworkers, plus a Short Term Incentive on top of your salary. Gross annual salary 120k EUR – 160k EUR depending on experience.

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to Ali Zaman, VP Global Direct Procurement and based in Amsterdam.
