About the job

As Process Engineer you will be part of the Technology Group Polymer Specialties in Deventer. This group is responsible for process know-how, process design specifications, process safety improvements and process optimizations globally.

In this role you will support the organic peroxide sites in the Business Unit Polymer Specialties to be involved in capex projects as technology licensor and/or lead process engineer.

In your future role as Process Engineer you will

• Act as technology licensor and/or lead process engineer in studies and capex projects
• Participate as process engineer in Hazard Studies
• Lead or assist in commissioning and startup of capex projects
• Prepare design standards and know-how transfer books
• Actively collect and drive input from process research and safety research into capex projects
• Define and drive plant trials on sites related to capex projects and process safety improvement
• Actively pursue and participate in improving current technologies and identifying new technologies

We believe you bring

• A master’s degree in Chemical Technology or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering or process design
• Experienced in participation as process engineer in capex projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Fluency in English

• A permanent contract with a probationary period of 2 months.
• A gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance based on your knowledge and experience between EUR 72,177 and EUR 112.938
• 25 vacation days + 10 leave days

Good to know

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, based in Deventer. You need to be willing to travel for the job when needed, on average 25% of the time, ranging from shorter trips of several days to longer periods.
