About the job

Join our team and drive projects as an expert engineer in your field. Define project scopes, manage uncertainties, and lead process engineering during plant commissioning and start-ups. You'll innovate with new process designs and RD&I information.

This position requires some travelling and therefore you should have a willingness to travel abroad within Europe approximately 25% your time.


In your future role as Process Engineer, you will


 

  • Define, plan, manage and co-ordinate assigned project within EMEA’s production site and ensure safe execution and delivery within time, budget and quality.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into new ways of working, standards and procedures, apply existing engineering standards, develop or contribute to the development of new guidelines.
  • Carry out training of the customer's operations and maintenance staff
  • Perform process design in projects including:
    • Basis of design, flow sheeting, process flow diagram, heat and material balance
    • Process calculations, sizing of equipment,
    • Create and establish P&IDs (Piping & Instrument Diagrams)
    • Preparation of functional descriptions of instrumentation and process control
    • Execute or support risk assessments of new/existing installations/equipment and issue advice for needed changes at request or at own initiative
  • Identify opportunities and make suggestions for improvement in production processes and design work, strategy of control, installations, equipment and working processes

 

We believe you bring

  • MSc Chemical Engineering or similar
  • An extensive experience with chemical plant design
  • A proved record of completed feasibility and study project phases
  • Experience and knowledge in risk assessment
  • Previous experience of Aspen Plus and Aspen Hysys.
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written.

 
Great if you have

  • Knowledge of PHAST software for process hazard analysis
  • Proficiency in Swedish language is an advantage
