In your future role as Logistics Specialist, you will

be responsible for completion of daily end-to-end road shipment activities for the region. The position will be based at our Nordic Business Center in Gothenburg. You will be part of a skilled team that performs all transportation planning, executing, and monitoring including reporting and preparing export documentation for road shipments.
 
Responsibilities include:

• Monitor shipments and resolve shipment exceptions and complications as they arise.
• Track and monitor logistics provider, customer, and organization logistics KPIs and cost performance.
• Establish and maintain relationship with internal stakeholders, logistics providers and government agencies.
• Support process improvements within supply chain

 
We believe you bring
 

• Bachelor Degree in logistic / supply chain or related discipline
• Experience in logistics / supply chain. Experience with chemical companies is preferred.
• Knowledge in performing  logistics road logistics activities
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and quickly develop a solution
• Understanding of the modal transport market
• Working knowledge and history of using computers and general business management programs (MS Excel, Word)
• Language: Swedish and English both written and spoken
   

Great if you have  

• Experience with chemical companies
• Experience with carrier relationship management 
• Good experience of programs specific to logistics (SAP, TMS, WMS)
