Are you interested in being our expert in the field of toxicology? And do you have a university degree or PhD in toxicology? Then you might be the new Toxicologist to join our team within Nouryon.

 

About the job 


In this role you will make an important contribution to the execution of the business strategy and the success of Nouryon.
You will contribute with toxicological expertise in product safety and regulatory compliance work related to substance registrations. Commissioning, monitoring and validating studies to be used for hazard assessments and act as Study Monitor for guideline studies in GLP compliant research laboratories. 

 

In your future role as you will 

 

  • Be an expert in the field of toxicology
  • Provide support and solutions in connection with hazard testing for regional/global registrations 
  • Human health hazard and risk assessments, and new product development
  • Have the chance to work with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Be based in Sweden but working in an international Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) environment. You will be reporting to the team lead (eco)toxicology, based in Deventer, the Netherlands.

 


We believe you bring 

 

  • University (MSc) degree or PhD in toxicology
  • 5 years of working experience in regulatory toxicology in the chemical industry
  • Proven experience of test methods used in toxicology including higher tier testing, in hazard and risk assessments for regulatory purposes
  • Fluent in English, both verbal as well as in writing

   
Great if you have

 

  • Working experience with the IUCLID database and QSAR

Strong analytic skills, and you are able to work independently, and you have the ability to analyze, organize and plan. You are pro-active and enjoy and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Furthermore, you possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner across all layers of the organization
