Sr. Researcher

In your future role as Sr. Researcher you will:

• Maintain and promote a safe work environment, comply with safety policies and procedures. Follow safe work practices for personal and equipment safety, in both the laboratory and in the field. End results are zero or minimum safety incidents and a clean, orderly working environment.
• Plan, execute, analyze, interpret and report experiments within the own unit and outside own unit.
• Identify new product/process optimization and technical solutions and new application opportunities for own area/domain and shares these with management.
• Keeps current on uses and improves relevant research methods in the field, ensures retention of knowledge through research reports and ensures other team members stay current.
• Participate in projects and ensures execution and delivery of technical results.
• Contribute to IP applications for own research work; analyze 3rd party IP in own area.

We believe you bring:

Required:

• PhD in chemistry or chemical technology OR
• Master's Degree in chemistry or chemical technology with 3 years of relevant experience OR
• Bachelor's Degree with substantial relevant experience

Preferred:

• PhD in chemistry or chemical technology

Experience / Skills:

• Required: Extensive laboratory experience in the field of chemistry or chemical technology.
• Preferred: Experience in Formulation Technology, particularly in Agro Applications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in designing and conducting experiments
• Knowledge of safety protocols in laboratory and field environments
• Familiarity with IP processes and the ability to analyze third-party IP

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Section Manager in Bridgewater, NJ.
