Maintenance Supervisor:

In your future role as Maintenance Supervisor you will:

• Direct employees in the maintenance department in safe execution of daily work activities.
• Schedule employees’ work hours and manage their time cards.
• Conduct safety, performance, training, and informational meetings.
• Monitor and report on status of work activities.
• Understand and follow current CBA requirements in dealings with maintenance technicians.
• Manage on-call list.
• Manage technical assessment and training support for the skills required of maintenance technicians.
• Work with production to shift maintenance resources when unplanned situations arise.
• Participate in Incident investigations, RCAs, etc., as needed.
• Ensure PMs are timely executed and exceptions are brought immediately to management’s attention
• Works with HR and upper management for handling recruiting, promotions, disciplinary actions, etc.

We believe you bring:

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma (HSD) with 10+ years of relevant experience OR
• Associate degree in a technical area with 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility OR
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience.

Technical Proficiency: 

• Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical information related to plant operations.

Work Environment: 

• Capability to work in a chemical manufacturing setting with rotating, stationary, and high voltage equipment. Must be able to climb multiple levels, work in both indoor and outdoor environments, handle various noise levels, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Safety Knowledge:

• Possess the necessary knowledge to work safely and direct the safe work of others.

Compliance:

• May need to comply with Nouryon RBPS 12 Corporate CFATS Personnel Surety Compliance Policy for Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards, depending on work area or activities within the plant.

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Maintenance Manager in Columbus, MS.
