About the job:

 

This position will lead the sales team to deliver top and bottom-line growth for the Cleaning segment to deliver the short- and long-term sales and profitability targets that are in line with annual budgets.

 

In your future role as a Sales Manager (Cleaning), you will:

 

  • Develop a high performing sales team.
  • Manage 1-2 strategic accounts as needed.
  • Work with marketing and product management to define pricing and product strategy across market segment.
  • Support feeding the IBP and DMR process in order to make sure both short- and long-term product demand for the region is met.
  • Highlights market trends and customer needs requiring new product/new application development. Acts as a key interface with Product Management, Global and regional Marketing and R&D for product and application development and product life cycle analysis.
  • Comply and Act as role model for Nouryon Safety and Code of Conduct values business principles and standards both inside and outside Nouryon.
  • Deliver Annual Budget aligned with the regional objectives. Maintains a high-quality opportunity pipeline to meet growth targets.
  • Participates in accurate planning (forecasting, budgeting) for market segment. Meets forecast accuracy targets.
  • Drive pricing discipline with the commercial team to optimize volumes/profitability.
  • Implements regional /global account management discipline; Coaches and supports the team in developing high quality account plans; tracks and ensures implementation.
  • Support expansion of strategic relations with key accounts based in their region. Ensure business relationships are established at various levels and disciplines within customer’s organization.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation/product development. Communicates trends, opportunities, and risks clearly and in a timely manner with the sales director.
  • In collaboration with Technical and Product and Marketing teams, defines product portfolio and value propositions that meet market/customer needs.
  • Drive successful launch and adoption of new products and value propositions.
  • Performance management and career development planning for team according to the HR calendar. 
  • Meet target overdue % for the market segment.
  • Meets budgeting targets for travel & entertainment.

 

 

We believe you bring:

 

  •  Bachelor or master’s degree in chemistry or Chemical Engineering and / or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
  • > 10 yrs of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in sales.  Career should show progressive growth in sales.
  • Strong Financial and Business Acumen
  • Experience with leading and managing virtual teams.
  • Experience in Cleaning/Home care industry is a strong preference.
  • Comfortable working across regional and global cultures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with commercial tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Arkieva, CRM, Power BI ).

 

 

Good to know:
 

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Sales Manager of H&PC Specialties and based in our Radnor, PA location.
