Maintenance Manager


The Maintenance Manager is accountable for planning, directing and controlling the work of the Maintenance Department to support and maintain production departments and infrastructure at the Green Bay – Howard sites commensurate with good engineering practices and in-line with company policies and procedures.  Key member of the site leadership team.

In your future role as Maintenance Manager you will 

  • Oversee the maintenance function, including asset maintenance and reliability management.
  • Supervise and manage contractors to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive reliability plan for plant equipment.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Provide expertise and participate in root cause analysis to resolve equipment failures and prevent recurrence.
  • Act as the primary approver for high-risk permit activities, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Drive productivity initiatives related to maintenance activities, striving for continuous improvement.
  • Engage in Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security (HSES) activities as directed by management or outlined in the HSES Annual Site Plan.
  • Understand and help implement the site’s Operating Policy, and HSSE goals and objectives.
  • Support and participate in on-going HSSE improvement activities and committees.
  • Be aware of potential health, safety, security and environmental impacts in area of responsibility and the consequences if an upset occurs.
  • Understand and implement any parts of the Environmental Compliance Plan and Waste Management Plan that apply to area of responsibility.
  • Other duties and assignments as directed by Site Manager.


We believe you bring

  • HS diploma or equivalent required (mechanical or electrical engineering degree or similar preferred)
  • 10+ years’ experience in engineering, plant operations, or technical field  
  • Experience w/SAP
  • Experience w/computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • In-depth knowledge regarding operation & maintenance of plnat utilities including steam, compressed air, cooling towers, chillers, and HVAC systems
  • Experience in facilities management including utilities, service contractors, and general facilities upkeep
  • Experience working within a PSM-RMP covered site (5+ years) preferred
  • People leader experience (3+ years) preferred
  • Familiarity with industry process standards, specifically ASME B31.3
  • CAPEX management experience preferred
  • Continuous improvement experience preferred 
  • Experience with Enablon preferred
  • Experience with EPI-MES preferred 
  • Ability to read/write in English
  • Must be able to lift approximately 25 lbs, work in a plant environment, and must be able to wear necessary PPE such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hat & respirator as needed
