Maintenance Supervisor

In your future role as Maintenance Supervisor you will:

General:

• Ensure technicians comply with safety rules and promote safe working practices.
• Follow up on performance scorecards; complete quarterly performance assessments.
• Develop and oversee audit processes, including “wrench time” sampling.
• Analyze data to identify and eliminate top wrench time barriers.
• Ensure work is completed according to scope, time, and quality.
• Register worked hours, work order confirmations, and costs in the CMMS system.
• Ensure work order packets and documentation are complete.
• Manage deviations in scope, quality, time, and cost.

Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE):

• Understand and help implement the site’s Operating Policy and HSSE goals.
• Support and participate in ongoing HSSE improvement activities.
• Be aware of potential HSSE impacts and consequences.
• Implement relevant parts of the Environmental Compliance and Waste Management Plans.
• Participate in the site’s ongoing Pollution Prevention Process.

Quality:

• Be aware of specific quality assurance responsibilities.
• Familiarize with sitewide document control, quality audits, corrective actions, and record keeping.
• Ensure employees are adequately trained in quality procedures.

We believe you bring:

General:

• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of supervisory experience in a plant setting.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, communication).
• Able to wear a respirator if needed.
• Able to work in a plant environment with safety gear (safety shoes, glasses, hard hat).

Physical Demands:

• Able to work in plant environments, climb stairs, and work at heights.
• Comfortable working in hot environments (outdoor work in Texas).
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be “On Call” and respond within ~2 hours.

Good to know:

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Maintenance Engineer at our site in Houston, TX.
