About the job:

The Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting will report to the Senior Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting and will be responsible for providing technical accounting guidance, managing complex Corporate accounting processes and the preparation of quarterly and annual  financial statements. This individual will also collaborate and provide guidance to regional controllership teams and other global functional teams (HR, Legal, Treasury, Tax, etc.) with respect to accounting, finance and internal controls topics. This individual will frequently collaborate and work with executives and must be an effective communicator and project manager and be able to document conclusions in a clear and concise manner. This position will be based in Radnor, PA but part of a global team.

 

In your future role as Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting, you will:

  • Manage the preparation, review and filing of quarterly and annual financial statements including preparation for an IPO
  • Provide IFRS and US GAAP technical accounting guidance globally, including ownership of new accounting guidance adoptions
  • Resolve accounting matters with external auditors
  • Draft and review technical white papers to address accounting issues
  • Issue accounting policies for our global organization
  • Assist in developing and implementing internal controls to ensure SOX compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the financial reporting process, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Manage corporate accounting responsibilities including, global pension coordination, annual goodwill impairment analysis, stock compensation accounting, short-term incentive and legal / environmental accruals and derivative accounting
  • Significant involvement and contributions to acquisition activities including leading the coordination on all purchase accounting matters

We believe you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related area
  • 6+ years of experience, with Public and Industry experience preferred
  • CPA required
  • SAP experience helpful
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and technical accounting skills
  • Extensive experience with Financial Statements, IFRS, US GAAP and SEC Reporting
  • Experience in Consolidation Accounting and External Reporting helpful
  • Experience with process/controls documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
