Global Mobility Specialist

About the job

The Global Mobility Solutions Manager is responsible for managing the global mobility program, monitoring compliance with Nouryon policies. This role provides strategic and operational support for the relocation and assignment needs of the company's international workforce. The position involves collaboration with HR, legal, finance, and external vendors. This position requires 4 days onsite work and can be located in Radnor, PA, Houston, TX or Chicago, IL.

 

 

In your future role as a Global Mobility Specialist, you will be:

 

Global Mobility Program Management:

  • Develop and implement global mobility policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Manage the end-to-end relocation process for domestic and international assignments.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for smooth employee transitions.
  • Update the global mobility program to align with business needs and best practices.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Coordinate with legal to ensure compliance with international tax, immigration, and employment laws.
  • Monitor changes in global mobility regulations and recommend policy updates accordingly.
  • Manage risks associated with international assignments and relocations.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to address compliance issues.

Employee Support and Communication:

  • Provide guidance and support to employees and their families throughout the relocation process.
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns related to global mobility.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on global mobility policies and processes.
  • Create communication materials and resources for employees on international assignments.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all international assignments and relocations.
  • Track and report on global mobility metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on the global mobility program.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work with HR business partners, talent acquisition teams, and line managers to identify global mobility needs.
  • Partner with finance to develop and manage the global mobility budget.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address legal or regulatory issues.
  • Engage with external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.

 

 

 

We believe you bring

 

  

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in global mobility or international HR management.
  • Knowledge of international tax, immigration, and employment laws.
  • Experience managing global mobility programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Certification in Global Mobility (e.g., GMS, CRP) is a plus.
