Treasury Hub Lead EMEA

Do you have experience as the treasury focal point for regional businesses, country organizations, and various functions? Can you build strong relationships with bank experts, review investment & business proposals, and ensure effective cash management processes? If so, we are looking for someone who can drive optimal capital structure for EMEA entities, support M&A transactions, and enforce group treasury policies.

 About the job

As a treasury business partner for Nouryon in the EMEA region, your objective is to translate global treasury objectives to local business. You will collaborate globally.

In your future role as Treasury Hub Lead EMEA you will

  Act as the treasury focal point for regional businesses, country organizations, and functions (Control, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Audit, HR), banks, shared service center

• Review investment & business proposals and provide Treasury input
• Support change management processes and projects to achieve Finance targets
• Ensure policies, manuals, guidelines, and processes are followed
• Support Trade receivables securitization program and cash management infrastructure
• Build strong relationships with bank experts
• Review bank charges and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure effective cash management processes
• Provide guidance on trade finance products (letters of credit, bank guarantees)
• Engage with banks to ensure excellent service levels at minimal costs
• Cooperate with Tax, Legal, and Regional Accounting Center for tax optimization
• Support deal structuring, valuation, and funding 
• Enforce group treasury policies

We believe you bring 

• At least 8 years of Treasury experience, with 5 years in management.
• Deep knowledge of international cash management, trade finance, risk management, and corporate finance/tax planning.
• Familiarity with In House Banking, cash pooling, payment factory concepts.
• Specific knowledge of treasury setups in Europe, Middle East, Africa.
• Fluency in English.

Great if you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (advanced degree)
• Proficiency with Treasury systems (TMS) and banking systems; SAP experience is a plus
