About the job

 

As a Researcher Analytical Chemistry-Atomic Spectrometry, you independently analyze Nouryon or related products for chemical composition. You interpret the results of your research in combination with the results of other analytical techniques.

You will be part of the MAW team: Microstructure analysis, Atomic Spectrometry and Wet chemical analysis.

 

In your future role as Researcher, you will:

 

  • Provide the daily analyses within the atomic spectrometry laboratory.
  • Advising on the best strategies for the questions within atomic spectrometry.
  • Ensure the quality and the timely reporting of the results.
  • Gatekeeping the developments in the field atomic spectrometry.

 

We believe you bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry (Dutch HLO).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in analytical chemistry preferably in atomic spectrometry (ICP-OES, ICP-MS, XRFS)  and in at least one of the other techniques of the team (wet chemistry, microscopy).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High affinity with the soft-and hardware of analytical techniques

 

 

Great if you have

 

  • Experience in additional analytical techniques (chromatography, NMR).
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Safety awareness.
  • Analytical-, result- and customer-oriented mind set.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) and Dutch (or willing to learn)
  • Accurate (attention for detail) and hands-on mentality

 
Good to know
This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, based in Deventer office and we are considering candidates who are already based in the Netherlands.
