About the job

The business line is well-positioned in the global transformation to renewable materials in packaging and solutions for a more sustainable future. In the role as Key Account Manager EMEA, you report to the Sales Director EMEA and work closely with the rest of the Sales Team and in close collaboration with Product Management, Supply Chain, and Customer Service. You will join a dynamic business focused on sustainable solutions for the pulp industry serving end markets like packaging, hygiene products, and textile.

In your future role as Key Account Manager, you will

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic key accounts, generating target levels of revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding from customer base. 
  • Negotiate multimillion-USD’s commercial deals including terms and conditions.
  • Develop strong relationship with key decision makers and buyers and create multi-level connections within the customer organization.
  • Understand and assess customers’ needs, business objectives, strategies alongside competitive landscape and build compelling customer value propositions.
  • Define and develop opportunities for new business as part of detailed account planning and sales forecasting.
  • Provide insights in CRM regarding quantitative and qualitative developments through periodic and ad hoc reports and/or analyses.
  • Execute business strategies and assist management in setting strategic initiatives and programs to achieve corporate strategies.
  • In this position you will be traveling approximately 20%-30%.

Placement for this position can be discussed depending on different circumstances but preferably in our Nordic Business Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden.


We believe you bring

  • Extensive experience in Key Account Management in a business-to-business environment.
  • Strong negotiation expertise from tender environment with record of winning business.
  • Multiple years in chemical sales, preferably from bleaching chemicals or pulp and paper.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Business Administration or similar field 
  • Excellent English language skills, oral and in writing.
  • Knowledge of CRM, SAP, and MS Office


Great if you have

  • Excellent Swedish, Finnish or Spanish language skills, oral and in writing.
