About the job

In this exiting and unique position you will lead and contribute with your extensive knowledge of the Chlorate/Chlorine dioxide manufacturing process, can consult best practices, and link current issues with past experiences. You serve as a reference in projects and technical discussions, providing solutions or knowing where to find them. You identify necessary skills for problem-solving, have strong contacts in R&D, manufacturing, and project areas, and effectively assemble teams for troubleshooting or development. You identify and lead new topics for discussion and technological advancement and travel within your region and overseas to support sites and customers by approximately 25-30% of your time.

In your future role as Sodium Chlorate Specialist you will

  • Participate and/or evaluate root cause analysis of process issues and ensure real root causes have been identified and standard solution applied
  • Support and lead assigned the technology group programs (i.e, Benchmark, Process Review, Technical Reports, Engineers Training, Customer Complaint / Quality, Technical database management)
  • Ensure efficient knowledge transfer between plants, and between the plants and Technology & R&D. Support and train process engineers within the organization
  • Lead development of growth plans for the plants in the region by revising the capacity and identifying the opportunities to improve OEE
  • Ensure that the most cost-effective technology is employed to create competitive advantages and customer value. Identify and implement best available technology


We believe you bring

  • Master of Science in Chemical engineering or similar
  • Great experience within the chlorate technology/chlorine dioxide area
  • Some experience in research, process development and/or production within chemical industry
  • Fluent i English both verbal and written
