As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality chemicals and products to meet customer demands. If you're safety-focused, detail-oriented, and ready to make an impact, this role is for you!
Prioritize safety by following all plant and company rules, procedures, and wearing required PPE.
Work effectively in a team environment or independently as needed.
Operate process equipment and instrumentation to produce products on time using standard operating procedures.
Perform quality control analysis and tests to ensure specifications are met.
Support and participate in health, safety, security, and environmental (HSES) initiatives, including:
Helping implement HSES and Responsible Care policies.
Being aware of potential environmental, health, and safety impacts in your area.
Participating in Pollution Prevention, Environmental Compliance, and Emergency Response Plans.
Engaging in ongoing HSES training and site safety processes.
A minimum of a High School diploma.
At least 2 years of experience as an operator in a chemical manufacturing plant.
Availability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and perform physical tasks like:
Lifting 55 lb. bags.
Climbing stairs, tanks, railcars, tank trucks, and ladders.
Filling and moving 55-gallon drums.
Turning valves and handling other manual tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).
Experience with SAP, operating DCS or other control systems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
A Process Technology Associate Degree is a big plus!
Bonus points for mechanical aptitude or basic knowledge of chemistry.
This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Production Supervisor at our site in Houston, TX.
