At Nouryon, our global team of Changemakers takes positive action every day, to reach higher collectively and individually. We create innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers to answer society’s needs – today and in the future.

We are looking for team members who bring ideas forward, champion others and work together to do better. Does that sound like you?

About the Job:

We’re on the lookout for a Production Scheduler to join our team in Pasadena! In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our plant running smoothly. You’ll schedule production, coordinate raw materials and packaging deliveries, and ensure everything aligns with customer needs and capacity plans. This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate with teams across sales, marketing, and supply chain while supporting a site dedicated to manufacturing organic peroxides.

In your future role as Production Scheduler, you will:

  • Review demand forecasts, spot trends or changes, and collaborate with sales and marketing to make updates.
  • Lead the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including production, inventory, and capacity plans.
  • Create detailed schedules that meet customer demands, optimize capacity, and align with working capital guidelines.
  • Coordinate raw material and packaging orders to match production schedules.
  • Oversee stock transportation between sites using a “push planning” model.
  • Provide detailed analysis of demand, supply, inventory, and capacity to support decision-making.
  • Maintain and update SAP master data to keep production planning on track.
  • Set and evaluate inventory targets regularly and when new SKUs are introduced.
  • Support the team with other tasks and assignments as needed.

We Believe You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain (or equivalent experience).
  • APICS CPIM certification or progress toward it (a big plus!).
  • 3–10 years of experience in planning, customer service, sales, or operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort wearing safety gear (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hard hat) when visiting the plant.

Why Join Us?

You’ll be working at our Pasadena site, a hub for manufacturing organic peroxides used by some of the biggest names in thermoplastic resins. Our products are essential, but also require careful handling due to their hazardous nature. If you thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoy collaborating with a supportive team, this is the role for you.
