Consolidation and Financial Reporting Manager

About the job 

 
The role forms an integral part of the Nouryon consolidation and reporting team, which has responsibility for the quality and integrity of Nouryon consolidated financial information. You will be a key contributor to drive consistency and our global accounting policy and improve process efficiency. You will be involved in the analysis and review of monthly financial results, working closely with our global controllers to ensure accurate and timely submission of results. 

 


In Your Future Role as a Consolidation and Financial Reporting Manager You Will  

 

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with IFRS/US-GAAP
  • Implement and maintaining the SAP S4/Hana system to support the consolidation process.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Coordinate with other departments and business units to gather and analyze financial data
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and other applicable regulatory standards
  • Identify and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the consolidation process
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to other teams and departments
  • Participate in special projects and performing other duties as assigned

 
 

We Believe You Bring   

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field/ Master’s degree is a plus
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in financial consolidation, financial reporting, or related roles
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of IFRS and GAAP
  • Experience with SAP S4/Hana or similar financial systems is required
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Head of Financial Consolidations. This role is in office Monday to Friday.
